About Ms. Blair

With over a decade of experience working with elementary through college students, Nancye Blair served for four years as the Technology and Gifted Specialist at McKeel Elementary Academy in Lakeland, Florida, where even the youngest students in her classes exceled through the use of digital artwork/media, video creation, and Web 2.0 tools across all curriculum areas. In 2008, while teaching middle school mathematics and critical thinking, Blair was recognized as Middle School Teacher of the Year at McKeel Academy of Technology and as county-wide Teacher of the Year by the Polk County Charter School Association. Moreover, Blair has recently been recognized as a PBS Teacher Innovator and ISTE Emerging Leader.
